I would love to see the samples you posted but I get page not found errors when I click all of them.

can i ask a question about capturing super 8 into final cut express for editing. i think someone mentioned it briefly earlier in this posting.
would it be best to plug the camera directly into the computer and bypass the taping by capturing it as the film is being projected? will i need to do anything special to do this?
thank you!

Hi. Interesting.
A few deatils:
This clip is transferred by PRO8mm and should have been colour corrected through the transfer. On my MAC the colours are brilliant though.
When it comes to grainyness this is also interesting. However, it appears that you still work in the 50% resolution area. If you use QTP PRO and convert it to HQ the file size rises to 72MB and full resolution (most likely less grain) so it appears that you work with 50% res and thus a more grainy version.
Anyway - I would like to see your result when available.
Thanx

I don't have QTP Pro but I am working on a new computer system right now and will purchase it as soon as that new system is up. I need a new system for video and animation. My old one is getting kind of slow and I need a dedicated system for animation/video and one to just trash out. You know how that is.
